The Clients & Pets page is your address book. Every person you've ever booked an appointment for, taken an online booking request from, or added manually lives here — along with their pets.
Open it from the sidebar under MANAGEMENT → Clients & Pets. The URL is /clients-pets.
At the top you'll see:
A search field — "Search client name, phone or pet"
A Filters button (funnel icon) that toggles the column controls
A sortable Client Name column header (tap the up/down arrows to flip the sort)
Each row is one client and shows:
A small avatar (or a placeholder if they don't have a photo)
The client's name
Their primary pet's name — and a +N badge if they have more than one pet
Their phone number with a chat icon (tap it to text them)
A chevron on the right that takes you into the client's details
At the bottom of the list are Previous and Next buttons plus a page-size dropdown (10 / 20 / 50). Teddy will tell you exactly how many clients you have — e.g. "Showing 1 to 10 of 178 results."
The search field matches on three things at once:
Client name — first or last
Phone number — partial matches work, so you can type the last four digits
Pet name — great when a client calls and you only remember the dog's name
Searches update as you type. Clear the field to get the full list back.
Tap Filters to reveal a column-picker panel. By default the list shows a compact view with the client's avatar, name, pet, and phone. Turn on any of these to add them as extra columns:
Pets Names
Phone Number
Total Paid — lifetime dollars you've billed this client
Total Bookings — lifetime appointment count
Last Service — the date and time of their most recent appointment
There's also a Show More Info toggle that expands every row at once. Turning on lots of columns makes each row wider, so on a phone you may want to keep it slim and only expand when you need the extra context.
Tip: The filters panel is really a "column picker," not a list filter — it controls what you see, not which clients are in the list. To narrow the list itself, use the search box.
The filters panel also has an Add New Client button tucked inside it — but the fastest way to start a new client is from the top bar. Tap the + button (Create) in the header and pick New Client. See Adding a new client and their pets for the full walkthrough.
Tap anywhere on a client's row (or the chevron on the right) to open their detail page. That's where you'll find their appointment history, payment info, saved notes, and all their pets. See The client detail page.
