Tap any client in the Clients & Pets list (or any client name elsewhere in Teddy) to open their detail page. The URL looks like /client-details/<id>/overview.
At the top you'll see:
A back arrow
The client's name
A Book Appointment button (primary blue) — tap to start a new appointment for this client with their info already filled in
A section dropdown that defaults to Overview and also contains Bookings, Agreements, and Payment History
This article walks through the Overview section. For the other three, see Bookings, Agreements, and Payment History.
The first card on the page is Client Resume — a quick grid of lifetime stats for this client:
Upcoming — appointments that haven't happened yet
Finished — completed appointments
Cancelled — total cancellations on their record
No Show — the number of times they didn't show up
Total Paid — lifetime dollars collected
Unpaid — outstanding balance (shown in red when there's money owed)
Total Appts — lifetime appointment count
Avg review — their average review rating
This is your "at a glance" view of how this client fits into your business. A long list of Finished and a healthy Total Paid is a client worth keeping happy. A growing Unpaid number is a conversation you probably need to have.
Below Client Resume is the contact card. It shows:
Full name
Registered On — the date this client was added to Teddy
Phone Number
Address
Client Tags — all the tags you've assigned (e.g., "4 Week Client")
Underneath the details are four action buttons:
Edit Information — opens the edit form. See Editing client info and managing pets.
Block Messages — stops Teddy from sending this client automated texts (reminders, confirmations, etc.).
Deactivate Client — hides them from the main list without deleting their data. Good for clients you don't expect to see again but don't want to lose history on.
Delete Client — permanently removes them and all their data. Only use this when you're sure.
See Blocking, deactivating, and deleting clients for when to use each.
The Notes section is your private scratch pad for this client. Notes are private to you — the client never sees them.
Each note shows:
The note text
Created on: timestamp
An Open note menu button for editing or deleting
Tap Add Note to write a new one. Keep them short and practical — things like "always runs 5 minutes late" or "Zulu does not like her ears being touched." See Client notes for a full walkthrough.
The bottom of the Overview page is a list of all the pets registered to this client. Each pet shows:
A name header
Type — dog, cat, etc.
Coat Type — e.g. double, curly, wire
Pet Breed
Weight — your rough sizing tier (small/medium/large)
Fixed — spayed, neutered, or intact
Birthday
Gender
Any field you didn't fill in shows Not Specified, which is fine — you can come back and fill it in later.
At the top of the Pet Details section is an Add New Pet button. Tapping it opens the same pet form used in the New Client flow — pet image, name, birthdate, type, breed, gender, coat, size, fixed status, behaviors, and pet codes. Fill out what you know and save.
