When you're booking someone in yourself — over the phone, in person, or from a text — you'll use the + button at the top of the Calendar. Here's the whole flow.
Note: This is for appointments you create. Appointments that come in through your online booking link don't show up on the calendar automatically — they wait in Pipeline for you to approve. More on that in the Pipeline article.
Open the Calendar.
Tap the + button in the top-right of the top bar.
Tap New Appointment from the menu that pops up.

You'll see the New Appointment form.
The form starts with a search box: Search client name, phone or pet.
If you've worked with this person before, start typing their name (or their pet's name, or their phone number). Teddy will show matching clients. Tap the right one.
If this is a brand-new client, tap + Add New Client and fill in their info. They'll be saved to Clients & Pets when the appointment is booked.

Once you pick a client, you'll see their name, photo, and any tags they have (like "Friends & Family"). Tap the pencil icon if you ever need to swap to a different client.
Below the client card, you'll see the date and time. Teddy picks a sensible default (usually now or the next available slot), but you can tap the pencil icon next to it to change either one.
Make sure the staff member you want to book with is available — if they're not, you'll see a warning when you pick a service.
Tap Pets and services. You'll see a list of every pet this client has in Teddy.

Check the pet(s) for this appointment. If a pet isn't listed, tap + Add Pet to add one on the spot.
Tap Next Step.
For each pet you picked, Teddy will show you a service form:
Service — pick the service from your service list (Bath, Full Groom, Deshed, etc.). Teddy auto-fills the price and duration based on what you set up in Settings.
Staff — pick the groomer.
Price — auto-filled, but you can change it for this appointment.
Duration — auto-filled in minutes, but you can change it too.
If you want to add more than one service to the same pet (say, a bath plus a nail trim add-on), tap + Add Service or Add-On.
Tap Save when you're done with that pet. If there are more pets, repeat for each one.
Back on the main New Appointment screen, you'll see:
The client
The date and time
A summary of the pets and services
The Estimated total at the bottom
Double-check everything. When you're happy, tap Book Now.
The appointment goes straight onto the calendar. No approval needed — you booked it yourself, so Teddy trusts you.
In a rush? Add the client first, then do everything else. You can always re-open an appointment and edit it later.
Not sure about the time yet? Book it anyway and reschedule from the appointment details screen later. It's easier than guessing.
Multiple pets? You can add services for each pet independently — different groomers, different times, different prices. Teddy handles it.
